Pondering a purchase of steel wheels to replace the alloys and spacers on the 110, as I dislike having spacers, but apparently, colour is an issue! I didn't know this until my arty wife told me :)

So, green 110, should it have white wheels? How do they look with silver / black or grey?

The Tuff Torque modulars are the favourite at the moment, because the 7 inches will fit my 265/75 16 Insa tyres.

I have a blue 110 with white steel wheels and I like the contrast that white gives, it looks good and traditional. I am however also tempted by a nice set of shiny black modulars which I think would look great if the rest of the wagon were nice and shiny to match.

I used to have a blue one - that had silver disco steels on, which went well, but I lean towards white for green paint

Used to have a s11a swb in bronze green with a limestone roof and limestone 8 spokes then changed roof to truck cab but went all bronze green with limestone 8 spokes, now i have a 90 in bronze green with black mod's fitted which i half like and half don't but am in two mind's wether to go silver or limestone as the roof is in limestone but landy's paint is faded so will need a repaint when i have finished doing stuff on it so will decide then :)

Which alloys do you have? I have the black wheels on mine (see avatar) and was thinking of going to the alloys actually.

If I cant find a decent set, I will spray a 1/2" stripe on the rims with the same color of my Landy.

Alloys are Arcasting ones, with too much offset - they have wheel spacers behind them.

I'm not 'anti alloys' but can't afford a set of boosts :)

I think green defenders look best with white steel wheels, but then I'm probably biased!

what image are you after..

black - mean & moody, probably owns a chainsaw and hates normal cars
cream - classic, bit nerdy, would lend you his lawnmower but expects it back clean
silver - indecisive, may have issues, transvestite?

Here is how my 90 looks with black mod's and special track's fitted :)
