What's the deal with this then? Is it like a secret group that only those in the know get to come out green laning because I want to plaaaaaay! :D

I have a standard 110 hicap. Not done much greenlaning so keen to have a go although I'm in Woodbridge, just north of ipswich...

Maybe join you?

If it was just me you would be more than welcome but its a club trip which are members only unfortunately. We were finding some people were only interested in coming out laning and drawing off the experience of the members and finding where the lanes were and not wanting to join the club or come to the meets so we decided to make days out members only. With nearly 30 members we find we have a lot of trucks out anyway and have to split down into smaller groups which is a pain with not many lanes out this way lol.

Blimey.
Well if any folk from your club ever want to tag along on a EMM event. The door is always open, that's how we roll and once we have met them they can join the Facebook page too.
I've lead enough groups (as you know) so I already know the majority of lanes in Essex and the surrounding area, but it's always nice to meet other enthusiasts.

Did you not get deleted from the Brentwood Facebook page Nick? Thats one of the reason we culled ours!

Yes, but didn't realise it included social meets, especially when we have lead groups that included people form the Brentwood club.
Each to their own mate, we run EMM as we see fit and likewise they can run their club as they see fit.

I am rejoining the suffolk club this year and as I understand it, they have cross club events with the Essex Land Rover club.

See you Friday night.

We are a very close and social club, we meet every tuesday at the pub so all know each other well. We just got a bit fed up with people not wanting to get to know us and just tagging alone for the laning. Its the usual 'few spoiling it for the majority' situation.

Although i understand it can look a bit elitest and unfriendly from the outside, but as I said we already have a lot of members so managing groups is difficult as it is without having an open invite to non members :) I also dont make the rules lol
