Been using my new to me old 90 for a while now and finally as I start to trust it on way to work today speedos stopped working [emoji23][emoji23] presuming its a cable can't be elecy on a b reg. will get some photos of my attempt to fix it tomorrow. Any prior advice / tips before I tackle this small(hopefully) task much appreciated

My speedo cable was broke when i bought my F reg 90 and was a quick replace really so shouldn't be a problem, try and run the new cable the same route if the old one has been on for years as changing the route could cause it to break again :)

i think it just pops onto the back of the speedo if i recall. it will just go to a point somewhere on the drive train and it will just be a simple follow the route of the old one.

it might not be the cable though .... was the speedo 'ticking' before hand (usually a good sign the cable is frayed inside)
