well it is MOT time for the wife's car and it just wants one trailing arm bush doing, they failed it on that, they were all done 2 years ago but we can not moan as the car is a 1998 1800 , yes that makes it 17 years old I wonder how many other 17 years old cars just want that doing.

Well done even tho it failed at least like you say it was for something small... I totally agree with you that any other 17 year old car that hasnt been kept by an enthusiast would have failed on a lot more! :)

Yeah, you got it through alright indeed. Mine failed on emissions and track rod end ball joint.

well the wifes car nearly failed last year on emissions, but this year the car had a misfire so we put new plugs in the old plugs were put in by a Lr garage and they were champion I went to the local car shop he asked for the reg and said it should be platinum plugs in it so we brought some £35 and boy what a difference and it sailed through the emissions .

nice one mate

got mine in April , gulp , has sailed through the last 3 years , ut always worries me when it goes in

do cheat as I get a garage to pre check it for me , every year , all underneath etc prior to it going for its mot

got to have a new silencer box fitted this year and also the towbar bracket only is going to be done

sorry gassing as per usual , well done mate as u can take that big sigh of relief now, lol

I did replace the trailing bar complete luckily 2 years ago I had the whole thing off and the long bolt the holds the 2 trailing bars on came of quite easy and when refitting I put some copper grease in for next time and it did pass.
