I know.... Takes more than that to offend.... Calling my mother names. Or somthing like that would do it but taking the proverbial is fine. This is LZ after all not Faceache!
Was gonna say, you were starting to sound like a proper member of the owners club :D

Nice work.
Like the parcel shelf, how did you fit it, have you any more pics. I am wanting to make one for mine. (i have a dog gaurd so could fix to that?)
Regards Rich

Shelf is a bit Heath Robinson underneath at the moment. I am intending to improve the hinges soon.

Today I have been sorting my bike rack. Mark 1 receiver for my rack was horrific welding as already mentioned. A lot is due to using a gas less mug welder.

Mark 2 i. knocked up at work on Saturday afternoon.

But it was too long so I was going to cut 3 1/2 inches off my bike rack. But I decided to try modifying the rack first. Nothing to lose as I wa going to cut off that section anyway!

Happy with the result today! I will evaluate properly another day. I may need to create some side braces but I am trying to keep it so it will still fit in a receiver hitch as well.

Good inspirational stuff without spending fousands :clap2:
I bought another as spares but now am running two as hot back up ! Did the diesel get sold on ?

Yup sold the diesel. Broke even on it. The guy who bought it got a good deal. I fixed the clutch problems, cleaned the hell out of it. Replaced 3 window regulators. Put a set of 5 matching tyres on it, but I didn't get around to replacing the door lock motors. Or refitting the propshaft.

Good to know it's still about and going ok - when I checked on the DVLA site found most of the vehicles I had sold on were no longer on the road.........

After I have been a good boy all year santa brought me some nice pressies! One of the m was a steering wheel boss. So it was duly fitted along with my Momo steering wheel.

Lovely! Now I am in the process of modifiyniing my light bar to suit the new lamps I also got!

Knocked my side bars offroad and realised there was more air and rust holding them on than metal! So I have removed them until I re weld them, I will probably modify them into better sliders as well.

Also swapped onto my 16inch freelander rims in preparation for tyre change and a repaint on my jeep rims. I still can't decide about my bonnet deflector either......

Like the bonnet deflector........ To be honest I prefer the freelander rims..... Sorry but in my opinion the jeep rims just don't look right....... Just my opinion

Chris

hi mate

hope u wasn't think i was being rude about the steering wheel

was just so curiuos if by removing the airbag if it would fail and mot and invalidate the insurance

think it looks nice, something different for a change, lol

cheers buddy

MOT is a grey area. But most testers if the light is off will pass it. There is a clause for vehicles extensively modified for competion use.......

Insurance company notified.
