Not quite that simple for everyone, BB!

Weather and livestock are unpredictable, and springtime is pressurised on the farm, calving, show prep and silage cutting are all a possibility at that time of year. My free time is mainly in the Autumn.

I would love to got to this, but if I did it would be last minute, driving up in the day on the Saturday, spending the evening, and then driving back on the Sunday. And I wouldn't know I could go until just a few days before.

Will there be tickets available on the gate? I don't mind paying full price for a few hours, but I don't want to commit to coming,and then not make it.

Also, is there any chance one of these events will ever be held south of say, Bristol? I am sure I am not the only one who lives down Sarf!

I appreciate that, anywhere away for more than a night was a rarity when I was a lad.

Roy is setting up the tickets as we speak (I hope) and if it's similar to last year then they can be bought online until the last minute.

Having said that it's urgent that people make a solid commitment to this and wherever possible buy well in advance.

We made a big loss last year that Accy and Roy covered personally. Despite rumours LZ barely covers it own costs so a loss isn't an option. I know Accy and Roy really want this to be a yearly event and if together we can make a success of it then it would be wonderful to look at the possibility of regional events. I'm sure it's possible, with enough support I know a nice spot in South Somerset

I hear what you are saying, mate! Organising events is no picnic, and certainly not a goldmine. I am on some show comittees and so on.
And any rumours about how much the website is making/losing are certainly not coming from me.

I will bear in mind about the last minute online sales, if a window opens I can always jump in the Clio, probably only eight hours drive up there, I have done worse before.

Hope it goes really well, and enough bums on pews to cover costs. I really do think a southern event would be well supported if it ever did come to pass, I know several down here who would be up for it, but just cant face a trip to Leics.

I want to get my ticket NOW!! Can't wait. :5bparty::clock:

Knowing the way things went last year, I believe that people will have a great time-That being said the venue needs to cover costs to be viable.
