The cover was torn to shreds though.
There was considerable damage to the type 88 radar on the airfield too. I had to drive a Leyland Sherpa mini bus down the runway that night, now that was interesting, I don't think I sent over 10 mph!

House is coming on good, or at least I think so anyway, it has a bed and a kettle so it's fine! Yes, I really want to get the Defender home and get cracking on it, although there are 3 other vehicles to do so not sure how much attention it will get!

apart from a wee diesel leak and needing a new battery seems to be, although I did have a bit of an oops this evening when I reversed into a gatepost which actually punched the fog light clean through the body! I must fit a reverse light!
