Transfer Box

Ok - for some of you, this is going to be a stupid question:

I have a 2002 Disco 2. Should the transfer box be in Neutral or High for normal highway driving..?

Its been in Neutral for about 600 miles and been driven by 2 different Land Rover mechanics who left it in Neutral...

Just to point out the obvious, but it has always been in high, just not fully engaged. If it was in neutral you would have no drive.
