Last car I sold I put in the local paper and the phone didn't stop ringing for weeks. Went the first night. I was amazed.
I hope i am not breaking forum rules. Looking for c2K, i am picking the other on Monday and have left things a bit late.

If you part ex it be prepared to see it on the forcourt for at least 50% more than you got for it... Id sell it on ebay that way you can get a decent price...
I agree- but haven't even had the time in the last week to take it for a wash. Let alone advertising it for sale. I know they will make more but that is business, they have overheads. Also thought about it keeping it for occasion use. Not that posh yet, where i can have 2 RR. I will however now have a BECM SyncMate and EAST Kicker Lite for sale once i get to 50 posts.

You cannot claim the tax back for December now so might as well put it on eBay or local paper. Don't worry too much about valeting it. For £20 someone will give it a brush up. Sometimes a bit of dirt looks more honest.

I'd keep it if I were you for when the 5.0SC is off the road.
well it has gone. I thought the 5.0 were more of a solid engine. To be fair, i had the P38 for 5 years and in that time it hadn't really given me any problems. If i can get the same from the 5.0, for the 2-years that i plan to keep her, i will be more than happy.

I drove it back from Essex to west London, wow, what a machine. Love it. I know my P38 was14 years old bu the difference in ride amazing. I have to keep careful to not press the loud pedal too much. Will post some pictures on the weekend. Now to learn how to get the most of of it and the best settings.
