Brake pads

hi all got to replace disks and pads on 02 freelander got a set of eicher pads they have a chamfer on one end anyone no what way around you fit them chamfer to top or bottom many thanks dawn

I would guess the bottom edge: ie the chamfer faces the incoming disc rotor. Do the ones you're replacing give a clue?

hi ok will see if anyone else as any thoughts on it the chamfer is the same on all 4 pads

as above they should face up, towards the incoming discs, did mine yesterday
