Slowing down and then runs normal

Hello there

Yesterday we drove from Belgium to home (Nederland) with caravan.
After 1 hour it looked as if we had to climb a hill, but we were on a flat road. The speed went down from 70 mph to 55 mph. And there was no reaction on the gaspedal at all. There was no black smoke. Anoying when you just are passing a lorry. Shifting gear to 4 did not help.
And suddenly the FL was running as if there was no caravan towing.
Which is the normal behaviuor of our hippo. It reached 77 mph at easy.
After 15-20 minuten it repeated this pattern. One time for 2 minutes another time for 5 minutes and the normal running time was also not repetitive. The EGR is clean (oily). The hoses seem to be OK.

70mph then 77 mph towing a caravan hhhhmmmmmm to fast for towing im sure

towed vans since 18. 65 70 mph yeah ok over that only did it once but had to get home screwed arse of my car came back between 70 and 80. but the van was twitchy as fook never again ;-)

No lights went on (and off)

In France it is allowed to drive 130kmh (>80 miles) with caravan.
I did it for 1 hour last year no problem. Not twisty at all.
Normally I drive 100kmh (65 miles). Saves fuel.

Can it be that it runs in safe mode for a while?
But as already said: no lights went on.

As I had is this week, on a long trip, for several times.
Now without caravan.

After some days I have found it (sorry for the extremely late answer)
The vacuum hose of the turbocharger duct at the backside of the engine was torn and so it got false air
