New steering box

Hello folks, I'm hoping for a bit of advice, I've just replaced my steering box today due to the old one leaking, But no other problems were there and the car drove as it should. Now after fitting this new one the steering is stiff on right hand lock, But ok on left lock. We checked the tracking which is fine, Also there is no air in the system. The bottom arm is also lined up using an m8 bolt. Help appreciated. Thanks, Dave.

over adjusted when it was built , there are several adjustments needed when assembling them to ensure they work correctly

Thanks. I did think maybe the box wasn't right because I obviously didn't touch anything else. Only thing is the bottom arm didn't go as high up the shaft as the old one did, But that shouldn't affect anything. Does that mean it needs a different box putting in ?

would it be a waste of time adjusting the nut on the outside of the box, Only reason I'm thinking that is because would it be stiff on both locks rather than just on right lock if that needed adjusting. When you try putting right lock on you can feel it pulling to the left. Thanks.
