Changed cam seal to stop a small leak she's had and stopped inlet manifold leaking by using rtv sealant.

I'm hoping this is now the end to all the niggly leaks.

Oh I refitted the sump shield too.

Fitted new discs and pads.
No squeals as yet so the coppa must have gone to the right places.
Ordered oil and air filters for next weeks project.

Took a few "last pics" of it Thursday at Blue Anchor .Just got home so uploaded them to my PC . I thought I'd share them as they really will be the last before the new owner collects it.

about had a heart attack when the passenger window which i thought was goosed, magically fixed itself after greenlaning this afternoon!

Not that I am complaining like :)

went to look at a house thats for sale 7 miles from our current un. Thought i was going to get stuck as mines presently only 2wd. Seriously bad road. its 7 miles of steep rough tracks, fords and forest roads.

means we cannot have a normal car! lol

LoL I wish our wiveses would understand the thinking: ' just because it don't work don't mean it's broke so why fix it?' & tied in with 'if it aint broke don't fix it':D

If you take the new place that will surely give you leverage to get another LR? or a nice RRover??:p

My 2001 TD4 decided that it no longer liked belts and the thermostat housing and water pump decided to chew the belt to pieces :-(

3 days of repairs and €800 later I've a new water pump, idler pullies, tensioner pullies a crank shaft oil leak repaired and a new thermostat and housing...

to celebrate I brought it 300km caravaning - drove like a new Jeep :)

just waiting on my new obdII and ipad mount to arrive so I can play some more :)
