At least this fella was above the high tide mark. This is Birdlings Flat which is a beach I want my 'next' Freelander to be able to navigate....

I was thinking that if they'd put a rope on it, they could have pulled it up by hand with the tide.

From my " What could possibly go wrong" file
it is nice to be wrong sometimes and yes there were that many people around it they should have just pushed it out. And remember it is always better to walk the course first then if you sink up to your neck then you know your car will not get out no matter what it is.
