Hi,
My Freelander has always been quite hard to get into first and second gear, but over the last week it has got noticeably worse.

The first inch of clutch press does not do anything, it has to be pressed hard to the floor to use and the biting point is very low to the floor.

Was going to try bleeding this to see if it made any difference? Is it worth while doing this or is the symptoms of something more serious that I may have to go to the garage.

Have only had the card 5 months and already had a new fuel pump and a new fuel rail sensor last week.

Could be worn gearbox, or linkages, mine has a combination and frettling the linkages helped a fair bit, I used rose joint m8 and welded them to the end of the rods instead of the normal ball joint, however if you think its the clutch try bleeding it or changing the master cylinder, if it needs a slave cylinder its a bit more bother.
