Please help I finaly sold my P38 after 11 and half years with no major issues and i brought myself a 2004 L322, after ownining this for just over 2 months and doing 400 miles i now have some faults. I hadnt used the car for 2 weeks but it started fine drove it for about 1 mile stopped and i had to blow up a friends tyre with an Heavy duty compressor i connected this to the battery and started the motor up again after blowing up said tyre and driving off these messages came up
HDC Inactive
Air suspension Inactive
Emergancy Brake Fault light stays on
ABS light stays on
DSC light stays on
I have also noticed the speedo isnt working and the miles arent being recorded Any ideas ive noticed the post regarding low battery could be the issue but the posts dont say anything about these other issues.

Thanks

Connecting an HD compressor to the battery has spiked the electrics, not something you want to do on an L322. You could try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes, reconnecting and then doing the lock to lock HDC reset.

Just tried the 10min and the lock to lock reset but still no joy thanks for the info was worth a try.

Seems strange how the MPH has also stopped working tho.

where's the ABS ECU located and i will have a look?

More than likely an Abs sensor as the wheel speed is used by multiple systems on the vehicle , the draining of the battery wont have helped matters , but it will need some form of diagnostics to reset it all once the fault is fixed

Possible.....the Speed signal is from only one sensor (can't remember which - it is in RAVE) so if this has gone U/S then most likely...

When one of my front sensors was playing silly buggers, I still had Speedo but I had all the bells and whistles too...

Believe it's back left but would need to check rave to be 100% sure

Yeah n/s/r does the speedo. Ive just had some similar faults and ive sent my abs ecu to actronics for repair. They phoned today to say almost every connection inside was faulty! And that only showed as n/s/f sensor fault on my allcomms
