Sidesteps

I am awaiting to collect my FL2, and wanted to know if sidesteps are easy enough to add as my little ones would Find it easier getting in and out. Also is there any particular ones the you would recommend?

I have only just got my FL2 and it came with sidesteps , having gone over the car with a fine tooth comb to find things that need attention i have seen that the steps are quite easy to fit . I will probably be removing mine at some stage as i don't like them but it does make cleaning the roof easier , so i'll live with them for a while . They do interfere if you intend to go offroad at all. Mine are Genuine LR and i would say that they are not very good quality , so what the cheaper versions are like who knows !

Ok cool, will have a good look around and see what is what, just that my girls are 7 and were just about ok witht the height, but my boy is 3 so needs some help as he is an independent so and so..I do fancy a bit of green laning with it but nothing to seious. I have mates that do it on trial bikes. Need to find a local club I suppose to find suitable places.

Try these, just fitted to my Freelander 1, 15 mins a side and no drilling. Good quality stainless steel

FL2 sidesteps require a rivnut tool, something to cut through plastic and maybe an hour of spare time.
