modified my door on a gatepost and now i cant get it open..

O.k I'm a div
Jumped out opened gate. Jumped in didn't shut door fully and reversed through gate,
Door worked fine for a bit. (Opened and shut 180% flat to wing)
Not much damage apparent. Slight ripple by the hinges.
I drive to petrol station and find I can't get out..

I have opened inner door skin pulled and poked the rods and can't get the bugger open.

Any suggestions., tips (apart from don't reverse into gateways with doors open)

The door latch will be under pressure due to the gate incident so it wont release
You could try getting some one to push hard one the door (trying to shut it)
that might take the pressure off to unlatch it

It seems to be working again and the inner frame is bent a bit. Shall I put up with it or try bend it back or take it off and jump on it.
Not sure about the last as j might never get it to go back on.

Can't even see the point of impact Lol.
Think it just folded back.
Doors working fine but kind of springs open when you press the latch.
I'm gonna leave it until it falls off.
Like my grandad used to say "if its not Brock don't fix it"

Adjust the striker to release pressure and all will be ok
