Hello all
Please bare with me as to some on here this will sound like a very stupid question.
I own a 1983 v8 110 a rear fog light is fitted but there's know switch I got a switch which has 2 pins can anybody tell me what colours wires I'm looking for I found a brown and black wire but they got some weird crimps on the end that don't fit switch I have.does fog light switch fit onto connector box like all the other switches or fit directly onto the switch if so is it a case of just changing the crimps?
Cheers benn

Weird crimps? Cant you just chop them off and put spades or some thing on the wire that fits onto the switch. Open the fog light see what colour the live is and follow back to the battery if you cant find it where the switch should be.

the fog light switch on early 110's is a small stalk that goes on the opposite side to the light switch.

If you look behind the steering cowl you should have the plug hiding in there.;)

I got a switch which is on right hand side of the steering wheel on a little seperate dash next to interior light and hazard light switch would that not be the right place for fog light switch to go?

Only on a newer one.

On the older models like yours they are on the steering cowl on the opposite side to the headlight switch.

the 3 switches to the right of the steering wheel by your right knee are for heated rear screen, dash/interior light and hazard switch

Ah are they, what else could that switch on right hand side be as I got hazard light and interior light switch fitted but I haven't got rear heater windscreen it's just plain glass.
