Washer identification

Hi,

After putting the front axle together im left with two washers, it would be rather cool if i knew where they should go...lol

Here they are:



Whos gona be the first to I.D them?
Or have i got me parts mixed up and they don't go on front axle?
They are about 3mm thick.

I changed a cv joint on mine a couple weeks ago. Stripped back to axle and never saw anything like them. That was on a 91 200tdi.

I took the suspension turrets off also and thought they might have gone ontop but they dont fit in the recess.....mmm, i wonder where they go?

tie bar to steering box uses large washer as pictured

though looking again at tape measure pic radius arm bush to chassis

Look like radius arm to me

RRRRRRRR yea RADIUS arm.
I'd better go and look. i only have the two, so one each side.

Well this is what they look like before i put them back on the disco so i one each side with the nut.

They are the only bits left after putting the axle back together, forgot the radius arms were tucked away in the corner.

Yes, i painted them after getting all the rust off zinc primer, red oxide then chrome colour.
