Starter problems.. confuseled..

Hi guys, i have donea thorough search and have tried everything i could find.. but im completely stuck, put my truck back together to the point where i want to start it now, but ive hit a problem, i turn the key, and all i hear is a click from the relay box and nothing from the engine bay atall.

So i checked that the stop solanoid had power, yep! all good there

Checked that the main terminal on the starter moter solanoid had power, yep, all good.

Checked that the small red and white cable to the top of the solanoid had power when trying to crank.. NOPE, how do i fix that?!

Ive checked all earths and the chassis is completely clean around the earth points and i have one from chassis to gearbox and then from gearbox to the battery.. tried putting a negative cable from the starter motor to the negative battery terminal no difference..
Any suggestions to getting that cable running?!

Sorry, its a 300tdi with a lt77 gearbox..

Either dodgy relay/ multimeter check feed into relay contact and out failing that if it is all good the engne loom to bulkhead connector or broken wire.

I had a similar problem on my defender, I put 12 volt from the battery to the terminal with no power turned the key and it started, traced the wire back and it had worn through from rubbing.
