Been here a while now but still haven't got round to taking any photos, bought a ex mod 110 ffr when I got it I thought it was a bit special as everything has been made completly waterproof dials are in a enclosed box sealed with foam and Perspex also where the indicator stalks and wiper stalks are built into a fully sealed box all the connectors are wired into a massive brass unit which is also waterproof my local lr specialist Andy Richards informs me it's a wading model and all electrics are fully waterproof has anyone else got one of these ??

is the drive train sealed in any special way ?

A lot of it was covered in a leather vinyl material in places that could let water in but it has deteriorated so I have taken it off

Marines used to have special wading versions for training. They'd drive them with water above the dash level. Maybe it one of those?

Mike b that sounds like the ideal application for this vehicle ,the doors are not waterproof it still leeks like a normal land rover the brakes seem to be normal the swivel housings have leather gaters over them but I don't think that is anything special

probably not, the wolf etc come with a wading kit, various 'condoms' and a centre dash cover that are all fitted prior to wading...

lets see some pics and does it not have a military id plate?? ie truck cargo .... etc??

cheers steve

There's various holes in the dash and on the bulkhead behind the drivers seat my load area had many holes drilled and drain bungs that was riveted to the floor by chain a bit like a massive bath plug but I covered all these holes, the photo that goon army put up looks very similar and under the bonnet there's many levers which are connected to the air intake
