Im free in about an hour. Im in redditch now in a citroen c1. Im the same as gozzy though. Lots of.ropes but no bar. Im also a little closer I think?


do you want to let me know when u are on ur way there and ill come aswell see if we can rig something together so it will work, i am trying to ask around to see if i know anyone with a towing bar
 
The AA are on the way out.

My uncle has AA.

Will see what they can do. Only have basic cover so might not be enough to get to a garage?

Roadside assistance (basic cover) includes a tow to a local garage
 
Are ya sure it int the crankshaft damper thats gone. Does sound awfully similar :rolleyes:

If ya can move the fan by hand 45 to 90 degrees I'd say that were it. N.B. you can do this with the engine off ;) :D

It sounds buggered. But it sounds like it's running ok. If that makes sense. It's a deep thumping sound. With the sound more noticeable through the air box pipe?

This is how mine sounded when the conrod nuts came loose, thus knackered big ends. I wouldn't say it was a deep sound, very sharp and metallic.
