Heated seats stopped working...help it's cold in the Chilterns!

Took my Freelander 1 (52 plate) for service last week. When it went in, both front heated seats worked fine. It's come back and now neither work! The lights on the switches don't even come on. I've checked the fuse and it's fine. I also rang the garage and got, 'we wouldn't have touched anything to do with the heated seats on a service sir' response! Any one got any suggestions, its got to be something really obvious as the switches don't even light up now.

PS. I only have very basic mechanic skills.

They may not have done intentionally but obviously they did something....

What did the service entail? Earth points checked or cables moved under engine?

Thanks for the replies. It was a standard 12 month service. I will take it back, but its a right hassle when you have to go to work and spend time faffing about. I just thought someone may have had a suggestion as to what else I could check to save me the aggro of going back.

have you tried the relay it could just be a simple,s wire come off

Is opening the fuse box and checking the relevant fuse (listed in your manual) within your capabilities??

Thanks Bushwwacker. I did check the relevant fuse and it's fine. I even tried the spare one to be sure.

Is it connected under the seat?

Just in case anyone else is interested the problem was traced to a failed relay. £7 later toasty warm behinds again!
