Another ebay problem

I bought a top radiator top hose after I had a leak off eBay ( cheaper then getting it local ) but it never turned up have checked there feedback and it looks ok have I just been unlucky in the end I ended up getting one from via work if any one gets parts from rst online ( eBay ) hope it turns up as they take about 2 days to reply to emails and all I get is its Royal Mails it might have got lost

I have used these guys before and they have always been spot on.

I have used them before but there customer services are c*** to say the least

If it doesn't arrive after two weeks just open a case for non-delivery, after informing the seller of course .

That's what I have done

Result got my money back from PayPal

RST have always been spot on for parts whether I've ordered them via ebay or gone into their shop too. Just give richard a call if there are any problems Im sure he'll sort something.
Given the tiny size of the place it seems unlikely for any parcel or item to be lost or mislayed there and they have lorries and vans turn up every hour or so with deliveries and collections (depending on the tide and road onto the island) so its all dealt with really very well from my experience.

My experience is with a bit of inside knowledge too mind you, as I spent last week there and will be starting my new job there after Peterborough any problems as I said, qive them a call!

In any situation like this just ask for the tracking no. then track it and see where it is.

If they have no proof of postage then get straight onto eBay and say you did not receive your item.

eBay then contact the seller asking for the tracking number, when they cannot provide it eBay will refund you immediately.

eBay actually works pretty well, as a seller the number one thing you must do is have proof of postage, that covers you for most things.

Avoid eBay. Simples

Ebay seems to have everything on it and as shops and other retail outlets close, sometimes it's the only way to get hold of things without driving halfway across the country, especially if you live at the back of beyond.

BUT I am a great believer in buying locally and I do so whenever I can. You may pay a bit more, but for that you get personal service, somewhere to take it back to if it's wrong, you don't have to wait for delivery and you don't have to add postage on at the end. What's more, locally, they won't tell you they've got something, charge you for it and then not deliver it.

I have bought things off them and others without any problems

What I tell customer at least twice aday....
Starts off:" but its cheaper on eBay"...

Tell them they can have it for the eBay price but they have to pay for it now and come back next week to pick it up

Just goes to show decided to change rear brake discs eBay ( the sell I had trouble with ) was £18 more than getting them local just goes to show
