What have you done to your Landie today.

Put it on ramps so I can fit me noo stuff .. brand new 200tdi prop, flange, spacer, seal, nuts and bolts and stuff!

I know it's Britpart, but so's the front prop and that's done more than 4 years so far with no issues!

front diff filler plug started leaking,so nipped it up. as it was loose.

Made a platform fer the back so I'll have a decent sized bed fer the weekend

Just finished welding in a new boot floor, sides, braces and general tidy up ready for Eastnor with the guvnor (Dippypud). See you all there.

Put some fluid in the clutch reservoir.
I can change gear now!

I gave a engine bay a good clean.

Finally got my new battery in my disco 2. Next is MOT, Insurance, and Tax.

Removed dodgy water pump with a lot of help from the forum, had to buy some new tools for the job as well. I got a torque ratchet and viscous fan spanner.

Pick up the new water pump and belt tensioner tomorrow morning then stick it all back together.

Looked at the series as i went out to feed the animals.

Then went and got the new 90 MOT'd and paid for it, then insured it. Waiting for docs to be emailed to me so i can tax it now!

finally ive got the studs i need for the manifold to turbo.just need to fit them now

A rather rewarding EGR removal session, no blood, no swearing and most importantly no sheared bolts. Just got to bag and secure the redundant connector and blank the vacuum pipe tomorrow and its job done.

Since removing the roof liner to see where the water is coming from.............

...........there's bugger all coming in !!!!!

Stuck my LZIR stickers on

I've had the fuel pump out again today. Two reasons. One, so I could bend the wire the float was on so as to make the gauge register more accurately (blimey, it's a stiff wire) and two, so I could re-seal the join between the pump and the tank. I put it together 'dry' back in January, and the rubber seal seemed to be OK on its own, but the other day I filled the tank as full as it would go to make the most of a 5p a litre off voucher and noticed a small leak. It's fixed together with gasket compound to help it now. I'll let it solidify for a day or two and then fill the tank right up to see if it is any better.
