Weird Clunk but only when driving

Hi,

This maybe a little vague but I am running out of ideas. I get a clunk from the front of the Disco, it happens only when driving and when I turn the steering from about the 10 to to the 10 past position, and it will clunk every time, but when you are stationary and you try the same, nothing....

I have just replaced the steering box as the old one was leaking badly and had a lot of play in it, whilst doing that I noticed the drivers side hub had play in it and replaced that, also replaced both drop links as one of them was split. The clunk is still there

Whilst underneath I had a good look at the bushes and ball joints and they all looked ok.

Does anyone have any ideas what it might be? I was hoping it was the hub after finding play in that but alas it wasn't

Bushes .. any of them!

I had the same thing and replaced the front roll bar bushes, that sorted the problem. Fairly easy job to do too.

check the rubber mounts on the anti roll bar too... the bar could move through them if they are old

Pan hard rod bushes possibly.

....i have this clunk as well but only when turning right through to about 10 to 10 & as you say only when driving...it only does it the once while in the turn until you have taken the steering through to the opposite lock & then it comes back again in the same left turn......been doin my nut for weeks.
