Mrs Blip's trattor only gets cleaned once a year, and that's the valet the LR dealer do during the annual service.

This year they didn't even bother doing that properly, and at £450 for a dealer service we won't ever be going back there!

I remember when it had new car smell. For about a day after we bought it. By the third day it smelt of horse poo but at least that masked the smell of diesel after the fuel tank started leaking on the second day we had it.

Cheers

Blippie

why is the freelander the poor cousin and ridiculed by the others so much? i do car boot sales in fields and tow a caravan to many events where the ground gets soft when it rains. ive never gotten stuck or broken down on my travels.
i find my 2 litre diesel quite economical;100 miles for £20 juice as an average. more on motorways.
i do see a lot of defenders with extended air intakes. why? surely the exhaust should be re-routed too? or is it for using the heat lost from their heads to warm engine up quicker?:5bbeatdeadhorse5:

Cause its a car :p

It's what them there tratterer's want their land rover to be. A chug-a-long tractor for farming. But they've bought a smaller version and think of it as the same thing, hoping knowone will notice. They want to own a proper tractor really but they int got a farm so it wouldn't be much use.

I always thought rust buckets looked betterer with the eggsource through the bonnet. That way tratterers can pretend they have a real tratter.

a neighbor's son, who visit's his mum every week or so, caught me out front yesterday and did the sarcastic speech, of why didn't I buy a real 4x4 like his disco, after seeing him most weekends on his mum's drive trying to fix his, I simply replied that apart from being fully capable as a 4x4, I much preferred to drive mine, than have it sitting on the drive as a trophy that don't go, yes he soon turned around and walked off,lol

I always thought disco owners had a sense of humour. ;)
