sorted out haveing my welding done

ever since i bought my land rover its needed bit ov welding.been and got a quote today.for box section sills. front inner arches repaired,hole in the drivers side floor.a hole in the bulkhead/foot well on near side and off side and just a few little holes here and there.and a winch wireing up for £250.i thought it sounded like a good price

For what your having done I would agree very good price

That is ridiculously cheap. It's about half to a third of what it should be, if they do a good job.

That is cheap mate.hen you start cleaning up ya wrlds the holes get bigger so make sure you set aside alot more money just in case

i reckon that price will swell swell swell once they get started on it, good luck with it but as said i hope you have a contingency fund set aside.

id buy a welder and learn, as we all know small rusty holes can easy be 20x the size.

its a land rover garage lookin at there own vehicles they realy no what there doin.they only charge 25 an hour which is crazy. i was expecting to pay bout 500-600.he looked round at all that needed doin and said no problem what so ever and showed me 1 they were alredy doin.its these guys Nottinghamshire Land Rover Repairs | Driveline Land Rover

It's definitely worth realising though that they will get bigger. Just done the welding on mine and what I thought was a small hole soon grew. It's also transformed the disco with box section in, it feels a lot more solid while driving.

like so many say its dirt cheap! get a quote in writing as theres lots getting burnt lately!
