Hi need advice on a 2.25 petrol, REMOVED THE FRONT PROPSHAFT, went for a spin around the block, when engaging 4 low the transfercase starts to wind up, when the clutch is engaged the back wheels lock up, the lever shift back normally to 2wd to unlock the wheels. do someone know what can cause this?

Forget Wind up if the propshaft is removed you do not have that for starters. It seems that you transfer box needs to be looked at if its really that bad in low. A guy on the defender thread said he had similar issues and the handbrake was poorly adjusted causing it to bind on only noticed it in low box. I don't believe you have that issue by the sounds of it you have a dodgy low range within the transfer box

Will check out the handbrake, what is strange is when I depress the clutch while driving it locks the backwheels, disengaging 4L free it up again, I know it can't be windup but maybe its to little or too much endfloat on a shaft or worn gears?

it can be end float in high gear ,when high is slected low gear slides across and locks high to out put shaft so both are doing the same speed , in low low moves across to locate with low on intermediat gear at the same time unlocking high which now should be able to turn seperate from output shaft as they are both going to try and do different speeds ,if high is binding wind up within the box will occur ,quite common with some new bearings

Have the bearings just been renewed if so possible that the circlip on front side of output shaft has failed when they have preloaded the bearings .[CCN122, CIRCLIP WASHER>OUTPUT T/BOX S1-111]
If you remove cover over selector shaft with low ratio selected the high ratio cog at the front should have a small amount of lateral free play on shaft if it is nipped possible this could be the cause.

Thanks James, thats what I was looking for; new bearings was fitted...is there a way to cure the problem?

yes many new bearings have too great a chamfer which allows bearing to ride over circlip jamming gear by removing the freeplay circlip is supposed to maintain when preload is added by securing speedo housing, you need to find a oe or genuine bearing that doesnt have chamfer on inner race
