Hello all, just purchased a 2003 RR TD6 on Friday, looking for some views, feed back on RR's and came across your forum, thought you looked like a friendly enthusiastic bunch. Having never had a RR before not sure what I have let myself in for but first impressions are good. Has anyone tried remaps or chips to increase mpg? I know 25mpg is the official combined figure but is there any hope of increasing this?

Welcome along mate!

Great forum, I bought my P38 2.5 Auto DSE 1996, in July 2012, just a year nearly, first thing I did was drive to Switzerland and back, no probs. (180,000 miles coming up), so far
1 oil change
2 new tyres 2 on front
3 just put 2 new air springs to rear
4 full service and drivers window mechanism
spent 150 on a S/H chip off ebay, amazing amazing, lovely car, and the wife loves it too!
It's faster now than my previous car a Subaru Forester Turbo Auto, and more comfortable. I'm very happy at the buy at £1750 ! and about 35mpg on a run! Hope you enjoy your's.

Certainly agree with the comfort, we travelled about 120 miles to pick it up and felt just as fresh when we got back. Still having fun finding different buttons and trying to work out what they all do.:)
