water leak

can any one please help i have a water leak coming from the back of my engine all the heater hose are ok dont thinks its the head gasket or the head core plug is the another place on the block.

any pics? definately not the P gasket is it on back of water pump?

Back of engine you have two possibilities matrix’s pipes split or head gasket . other than that all I can think of is block cracked or core plug

Check your matrix hoses mate mine had a tiny split that you could barely see as it came off the head, just sliced a but off plonked it back on and all is good again

there is no water on the back of the head or the gasket its damp on the block and the water does'nt drip it runs. also if you blow in the header tank you can hear the water and air coming out from the back its also running from the top of the gear box.

If you are able to blow down the expansion tank and blow water out, check the matrix pipes as already said.

have done this i can see the water coming out the block by the loom and black metal braket which half covers the core plug. not good so engine on its way out
more fun.

recon your engine while it's out. Be like new. Better than buying a second hand engine.
