Windscreen Washer Replacement

Hi all.

Quick question, is the following information suitable for changing the washer jet on a TD5 130" Defender '03 reg? Don't really want to remove the dash as it's a mates truck.

Try via the ash tray first, if it has an ashtray.

But to change the jet you have to get to the bolt on the other side of the washer jet, on the other side of the bulkhead, which is obscured by the dash.

Changed mine through the ash tray hole. Undo jet from out.side then pull through complete with pipe. Fit pipe to new jet then fiddle locknut back on to threads. Easier with two doing job.
