my winter v8 project

and im sure there will be less of it after the redneck delivers it

about 3 tons of fun once im finished

plan is to spend less than 1000 pound but as much time as i can on it

good points are
solid 3.9 v8
chaissis solid/repaired and painted
with spreaders for winches etc added
all electrics work
seen it used and abused
custom solid 35x10 mm steering bars
ready made toy used and abused then fitted with new engine

bad points
v8 running on doozil gear box and lectrickey
drivers side floor is non existant
as is drivers side inner wing
also front end is bit beaten up
its sitting with cut logs(pics to follow)
as told last owner he could keep his lift springs and shocks as the only way to make it better in our boggy hily ara was to raise the diff wi bigger tyres

also have to mention that it was built in my yard admitadly before i was involved with the yard and was sold to guy i bought it off by lad i now share yard with

sure thers enough bits in my unfinished hybrid project to sort it out

Which bastid threw a grenade in there

^^^^^^^^^a grenade wouldn't cause that much damage

Lol fair comment the old lock up was a bit full
In amongst that its a load of bits I fought for my abandoned disco buggy
( abandoned as sucked water into my 90 so needed the 200tdi for engine for the 90)
Is a couple of Rex replacement inner wings
And new front door pillars etc

So come spring the v8 should be sorted

I was thinking about tidying the garage today, but I don't feel so bad about it now!

new place is slightly bigger and better organisered
