Simple question , Is the rear floor in my disco 1 , 300 tdi , part of the MOT test . IE is it structural , can it be replaced with ply for example ?

it will fail if its rotten, end of...;) And no ply board:rolleyes: either plate it , or new floor panel ,or checkerplate it.

Mine was very rotten and full of holes, but it passed the MOT and only got a mention as an advisory. The floor is not structural. The only way it will fail is if the seat belt mounts go through are shot.

If you fit a new floor pan , just make sure you have treated it well , ie ruststop primer , and plenty of underseal and waxoil etc under it..

Technically seatbelts don't mount to floor! they are actually fastened to a bracket that passes thru floor and attaches to chassis.
