Yeah, I've been a few times mate. It's pretty good, obviously very commercial but there's a lot to see & the off-road course is usually good fun. Loads of stalls and hundreds of sorted Landys. What's not to like?
I've booked for the three days to camp on the site with a few mates, it's always a gas. There's a big lake there and a river nearby, so if fishing is also a hobby it's a good place to throw a few lures about for old toothy!
There's a phone number on the LRO Billing web site for the camping, if your planning to stay over. It's the easy way to do it, as you also get your show tickets included in the deal. It cost me £70 & you get a 6 digit ref number to collect your tickets at the gate - simples.
I would reccommend the show & hope to see you there!
Cheers.

Im gonna pop down for the day with me auld fella n brother- never been before, really looking forward to it!
Only going for the day, does anyone which day is usually best or doesn't it matter?
Cheers lads

I'm booked on camping thurs - Sunday . Booked on off road course fri + sat. Haven't been for a couple of years but was always a good chance to perv on other peoples landies and nose around the stall etc , off road course is ok with a good ' MUD RUN ' ....

i will have on some bright coloured top[orange viz] if not raining.or coat hi viz yellow if raining.all with mud muppet logo on.so say hello if you see me.:welcome2:

This is our third time to billing this year usually a good show plenty to see and plenty to buy ,staying for the weekend this time so even better, last year was very very wet on the saturday got soaked and muddy ,plenty of stalls if your looking for some parts...

Does anyone know if it's first come first serve with where you pitch? My reservation specifies I'm in a certain part, but my mates have booked separately, and they say previously it's been pitch where you can

I'm not too sure how it's going to pan out for Billing, it's in 2 weeks time and Billing Aquadrome flooded last night, when the rivers burst their banks.

There was a Vauxhall show at Billing that got cancelled and everyone turned away, in doing so I hear it totally chewed up 80% of the grass show areas.

Done a bit of marshalling at billing
Been bloody wet last couple of years

Just read that Congenhoe Mill caravan site has flooded in Northampton, and there are no flood warnings for the aquadrome at the moment, fingers crossed
