Have just re insured throw Adrian Flux half the price of old company and did not have to pay Moore for mods asked about fitting a roverron kit and they said it would not affect the premium happy days means will soon be able to buy a roverron kit and save Moore :D

:tea:

Just put the phone down to AF, myself.

Last year, Swiftsure asked £295, which was competitive... this year?... £416

So I did the comparison sites, and after reading some of the critiscism here about Adrian Flux, I thought I'd leave them until last.

Now, before I had my Freelander, I had a Mercedes insured with Flux and had had excellent service and very good premiums.

So, it came as no surprise that AF came back with a better cover than Swiftsure and other benefits such as Green laning cover, car key cover (both sets) and all for just £304.04

So bye bye Swiftsure... you may get a quote in 60 seconds, but they loose business in even shorter time!! :D

Yes had my last landy wrought off for me so got my latest one with the td4 engine and they put my insurance up to nearly double This was in January so stuck with it as it took them all this time to sort the clam My renewal has just come up and the quoted as you £860 This is why i looked round the new policy gives me Moore and as said they are happy with mods and only £470 fully comp and breakdown

AF for me £190 bloody gone up from £150 last year but have included key cover this time, the advantages of being an old git ;)

i have just paid £37 to have my insurance swaped to my newer car and nearly £10 to have it faxed through to the dealer. off Churchill I am going to look else where next time

Do a search for adrian flux.... they don't have a 100% good rep on here. :(

See post#2 Minty....

All Insurers have their off days, just as all drivers do.... It's a gamble whichever way you look at it.... but as it's mandatory to have it.... :)

I've been with flux for some years now. They keep putting up the price a little each year but the rest do as well. Flux give a discount for being a member of a club or forum but I'm not sure of the rules. I got a discount for being a forum member on ere.

Well I called Adrian Flux today and although the bloke was very nice but they wanted £1700 off me. He actually apologised for the ridiculousness of the premium, which was something at least.

No modifications for me then :(.

Shop around. I have issues with Flux! Which I'll not go into on here but I'm sure you can beat them:) I'd like to;)

Yeh question is will anyone else be happy with mods? My current insurer told me to f-off basically, they just didn't want to take any deviation from their standar risk model of a$$ f*****g me.

It depends what the mods are and it varies insurer to insurer! I had a customer with a RR Classic expedition vehicle with direct line. They were ok with suspension, tyres, rock sliders etc. but refused to insure with an interior roll hoop?! Others are funny about engine mods. I used to insure a 90 hybrid no problem just can't remember who it was with:( you may get a trade policy. Mine are ****ers but cover pretty much anything. There's a little commercial insurance specialist in Nottingham may be worth asking. They were half the price of everyone else for my marine work and heat work and they're most likely going to get my disco and freelander in January:) and you know what they're like:)
