FYI - London Lane and Ponds Farm Lane opened on the 1st May.

I went up there Thursday Night for a little run in the nooo Disco, London Lane has been flatened up the top, no water holes! They have also blocked access for any moron going off-piste :D Only "Intresting" part of the lane now is going down the hill, it was still quite rutted when you get past the chalk part and the pill-box :) I reckon you could probably get a car halfway down the lane from the carpark end of the lane now...

Ponds Farm Lane has also been flattened out, few intresting bumps but nowhere near as bad as it was. Got a few looks of discontent from the Locals up there. It would not supprise me if it is shut by next year, looking at the signs, London Lane has a proper sign with the dates on, whereas Ponds Farm has a yellow sign with the dates stuck on it with a sticker... Very easy to peel off

Good to have two local lanes open again though!

Very interesting, i always love poking around in an old pill box

Steve - do you know these lanes, are they the ones blocked on our usual route?

No the one on our route is beggars lane. i know where the ponds farm lane is so we could do that one and there are a few others around there we could do aswell.

I should be around.
I've got a route around hindhead area that we could have a go at some time as well. Bought myself a couple of OS maps last weekend and been high lighting like crazy.

Hey guys. Just been out to do bit of Laneing and BYWAY that runs past ALTON Club Course is blocked by a burned out can!
