had a fab day yesterday thanks to Series. Was lovely to meet everyone. cant wait till the next time. shame hubby moaning like a biatch about his precious baby thats all muddy. thanks again everyone:):)
 
An unexpected benefit of this weekends trip- the three girls at home took one look at the beast and said we're not getting in that til you've washed it :eek:

so decision made- not washing it.......ever :D

No more arguing teenagers, no more crappy music to listen to, just peace and solitude :)
 
Thanks to all those that turned up yesterday.

It was good to see a load of new faces..... and some old ones...... and some with 6 toes, web footing, jelly lips and a gene pool that's been suffering from a 100 year drought.

A bigger thanks to all the groupl leaders for another great day out.

JM, sorry I didn't get a chance to chat to you more. It was good to meet you though. Hope you and the family enjoyed it and want to come on the Chippy run later on in the year.

Sorry to hear of all the overheating and alternator probs that were going on. It's been said already but there are loads of us on here willing to assist if peeps get in trouble so just shout if yer lacking battery power, overheating, unable to get yer gears, losing yer clutch pedal, Stuck with no brakes.... stuck in a ditch:eek:..... whatever. You aren't on yer own and we may be able to get you back on the road.
 
:praise: A massive thanks to Ratty for cable tying my high/low selector into high range so I could get off the Plains and home today. Would have been a huge pain in the arse driving 160 miles holding the slector lever in place.

This was my first proper outing in the tdi and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed driving a manual for a change. BUT there were so many V8's out on Saturday I was seriously missing Gloria and her V8 soundtrack. If I don't sell her perhaps she'll be at the next one :D

A great big thanks to Pikey and Minty for leading our group. What a great day out and it was great to see a load of old and new faces.

Made it to Newbury today and picked up some more goodies for finishing off the tdi.

Great weekend all in all except for some ****e feeling the urge to write "HELLO C*NT" in the mud on my bonnet last night in Salisbury. :mad:

Thanks for a top day out WLM/M4. well thought out route good Mix it was a blinder.

Lyn had a great time, and enjoyed Mels company.

Trip home was a pain.

Cleaned the Rad, looks better and seems to doing what it should.
