if your going the holesaw route a verry good tip when drilling alloy with these fukkers is to cover the saw teeth on the holecutter with plenny of lard or vaselene as it reduces snatching and gives a cleaner cut specialy with sheet matereals

learned from a hgv trailer roof fitter drilling vent holes in sheet aluminium :D:D:D

The answer was that where ratty lives there is no real off road parking- it was offered that I would help drop tank. But ratty decided with wading the likely hood of it coming out easy was slim.
So access hole cut ratty's choice

Could use the guy from qinetiq, just saw him on a crappy prog drilling a rivet hole with a windy and when it broke through he made a big enough hole to climb through  and some poor sod is probably flying about in that wokka today

I used a 75mm air cut off saw, just make sure you have it marked well and triple check, erase any 'wrong' lines if you remark. Cut the hole slightly smaller if unsure, you can always remove more but you cant add any back, finally take your time!

Oh yeah, do it with the wing on the car, it makes it easier to cut and also to check if its all fitting properly

iv got to do mine soon for a snorkel, was planning on air grinder and dremel combination, as above triple check EVERYTHING, and cut smaller :)
