ive read quite alot about the 3 Amigos, but what happens if i do nothing? the car is behaving, i know they've come on for a reason but it drives just as normal, can i just put up with the lights?

Thanks..........

does your ABS still work? better to find out now rather than when you need it. I recon any lights left on the dash like that come MOT time will be a fail.

Hi, mine are all lit up too. I know that in NZ, I will fail my warrant of fitness with them showing so I guess probably the same in the old country with MOT. My Abs doesn't work when they show intermittently. I understand it's a safety thing so all the illuminated items won't work as the car doesn't know what wheel is getting what power so it shuts down the system but allows you to continue driving. How did we cope before such things as ABS etc? Just drive to the conditions in the mean time. I'm getting mine put through a tester at an auto electrician's then if the SRV shows as the problem, there are some other sites which have a great fix bypassing the sensor within the Wabco box. Check them out

Thanks for that Tanman, it went through the Mot last month so thats not too much of a worry, but we are forecast to have some snow soon so i don't like the idea of the traction control not working, as mine is one of the ones without the centre diff!! i'll get it plugged in and see what the computer says!

Good news, its fixed (for now anyway), :D Took it to my usual place... Suffolk 4x4, where it was plugged in an the codes cleared, it came up with brake switch fault, hey presto no more 3 amigos! If the fault comes back its change the switch, £6:50 and problem cured! :D

pffft - got the same problem, checked with the MOT garage and been told that it's a definite fail with the ABS light on, regardless of the fact that it may just be the sensor that's playing up !
