Well, I am now on a mission to reduce the spots of oil on my drive, and have found that on the bottom of the lift pump there is some oil.

The lift pump was a Delphi fitted about 18mths ago (or so) and seems to be working fine. So maybe I have a failed gasket (seem to have a few of them lately...) but when I have been looking about you can only get the gasket with the lift pump.

Can you get it separately, or I am best just spending another £30 odd quid in buying another Delphi pump and whacking the whole thing on instead?

Any thoughts?

Thanks for that - noticed when I googles that number, it came up as a fuel pump gasket....I was looking for a lift pump gasket

£2.00 delivered - cheaper than a new pump, thanks James

I had a leak around the lift pump but mine was an oil mist coming out of a tiny breather hole in the pump.
Also it is always worth slackening and re-tightening the pump bolts. I fixed the brake vac pump leak this way.

Didn't know the lift pump had any breather holes - will have a look when I take it off to change the gasket.

For the price of the new gaskets, might as well just change them over, esp now I have got them in ready..

Replaced my pump and must have been a pin hole in diaphragm. ****ed fuel all over. Now cured. Must have lost as much fuel as I was using. As when I looked at Sender unit on the tank Had a hole on the return side. Sorted that but Have air leak somewhere in the system. I'm dying to see how it is on fuel now I stopped the fuel leaks.
