where's tuftee going????

yesterday, I washed it, polished it and put some oil in. That's all it needed.

Then, I put £15 of petrol in - enough for 600 miles and drove it :D

ripped out the entire rear interior trim carpet soaking wet sound proof mat, fibreglassed a couple of small holes in boot floor till later replacement, pulled out and resealed alpine windows, cleaned seam sealed and hammerited entire back end floor sides arches, built back up.pain in the arse.if only i had a garage.
awaiting dreaded mot at 15.45,i think inner wing near side is gonna fail but well have to see,i hate mot time....

Developed a slight vibration between 40 to 50 mph on my TD5 'fender, turned out to be the rear, rear prop UJ on the way out. Fitted new bearings with extended grease nipples.... much easier to grease now!;)

Also fittd some Wipac clear lense headlamps with Halfauds 'uber-bright' bulbs, can't wait to try them out tonight :D

New Rage Rover grill and light surrounds turned up in post! Excited! i know it wont affect the performance but they look cool!

Flashed a fellow 90 driver at a tee junction, then followed another for a mile from the pub (not stalking, just going the same way):)

Fitted my new (slightly used) rear vents courtesy of BlueHaze (Thanks bud). Before any one says, yes I know they'll leak like buggery, but they look pretty and tbh the amount of water they'll let in is the least of my worries!!

Finished painting the rear calipers, got my new stainless caliper pistons, going in on Wednesday, Painted the dust guard brackets and secured my dash surround properly, damn thing was vibrating like hell :biggrin1:

yippee for the first time in 5 years my good ole trusty disco flew through the mot with flying colours, mot bloke said hes had 18 discos in since 1st of jan this year and he said mine is the best one hes come across in ages, well chuffed i was but deep down i think he was blowing smoke up me arse.chuffed it passed though
