well im back...

been a while guys, had to sell my disco a couple of years ago, never really come to terms with her going :doh: but today i put a deposit down on my first ever defender




pick her up on friday and i cant wait. got a few bits of work i want to do on her, so just a couple of questions i have on these. i want to lift her, what kits are good? last time i fitted one the ****part supergaz had just come out so i used them.....
also she has 2 disco folding rear seats added in the back, they look a bit out of place but i havnt had a chance to see how they are fitted, im really keen to have a pair of seats in the back for very occasional use, whats the law around these? i was thinking maybe a bench seat but as the police are very anti land rover in my area i will be getting stopped occasionally so need it to be all above board.

no the police are anti LR as the local "youths" all have them and use them for ram raids (liverpool) and as iam only 25 and i have a short hair cut i also seem to fit the bracket to get constantly stopped

Cheers ratty. Good to be back. A mate of mine has got me one of them big heavy duty wheel clamps the dvla use on the untaxed cars. Just need to get the dvla badges off and a new padlock haha. Only takes 2 minutes to put on. be investing in a disclock aswell though.
