freelander trouble

i have removed the battery then reconnected ten minutes later reset it all now it runs a bit better i mean it sounds better when revved but when it ildes it runs real bad jumping from 750rpm to 1000rpm it wont idle as it should its hard to belive that the exhaust is causing my problem and when it was running i noticed a rotten egg smell coming from the exhaust stunk the street out lol any more ideas please ??????

Thats your catalytic convertor. i'd get the exhaust fixed and it'll run like dream, honestly

ive fitted the new exhaust today and got the misses to turn the key and it ran like a bag of s>>t but while i was standing at the bonnet i noticed a wondering spark from the ht lead lucky hey theres my problem new dis cap and leads coming tomora ill let you know tomora for furture refrance

Result never thunk about the dizzy as you said it'd got a good spark

At least the exhausts not blowing now
