Footman James
Adrian Flux
Heritage
Lancaster

to name but a few... Get a copy of LandRover monthly...loads advertise in that

The best for one person is not always the best for another person...so much depends on your circumstances, vehicle, use, location, age, etc etc.....

cheers ill have a luck...

3 points for using mobile
never claimed
car will be kept on main road but well secured i.e fuel pump cut off hidden, steel pedal box currently working on something to lock gear stick into reverse and car will be backed up to a wall (but the insurance dont recognise these security measurements) will be mainly used for commuting to and from work (about a mile away)
and the odd trip out with the family and dog in the boot!

I have just spent the best part of the day on the phone and the net, had my renewal the other day and it's gone up by nearly £100, now £371  Admiral.

Filled out all the comparison sites and then the likes of Adrain Flux etc, Flux started at £540 and then dropped to £455, on compare.com best was Elephant at £242 got personal cover and courtesy car cover all for a total of £290 :D told then about the modifications as well

Worth a day searching.

I'm waiting for a quote off af so thought id start a recent thread and like joe said what's best for one person isn't always best for another... Cheers for the links and advice guys

Cheapest quote so far is tesco at £2537
Looks like I'll be selling the disco as soon as its finished :-(

if its a mile to work walk, dont use for commuting and save a few quid.

Cheapest insurance company I have found so far is nfu.. although its still a but more expensive then a quote iv had for a traders policy which doesn't make any sense to me??? So in the new year ill be getting a traders policy 1400 with no limit to how many cars I have on and no limitations I.e imports etc.. :)
