Vulcan viewing tour

Hi I am a new forum buddy and am passionate about all things landie and ditto with the Vulcan bomber launched same year as the Land Rover 1948
I am fortunate enough tom work within viewing distance of this iconic craft
often from my iconic Landrover!
BUT
the Vulcan is a charity it is the only one flying in the world the only (now) civillian british 4 engined flying jet
it needs money for maintenance
My pal Toni Hunter is offering us a real opportunity to view the Vulcan whilst its in for its winter service it still looks beautiful in bits!!!!
Hit me with a positive if you fancy a landrover gathering viewing of the vulcan
we can have anything from a cup of tea after or a full meal best when we could meet sunday perhaps they would taxi it out for photos or see it take off if it fits in with their visitor/appearance
I love it so much I named my company after it

I'm also local to Fnningley got got to see the iconic plane when it arrived and on a visitor day, really humbling and the guys who are looking after it are so passionate (without being complete anoraks) about keeping her in the air.

Happy to be involved - just a thought but wouldn't it be awesome if sitting next to it in the hangar was a concorde!

Do we get to play in the cockpit?

I know they sound great , they were olyimpus's wernt they? lovely.

They used to throttle right back and almost stall with the gear down the the bombay open right over the crowd then whack it right it to full bore, damn noisy

they wouldnt be allowed to do that now
