ebay has this wonderful message system whereby if you click on the "Ask A Question" link you can then contact the seller directly & ask them this very same question. You should try it, it really is an excellent facility.

... I did that a week ago with no response. Thanks for the tip, though. maybe next week you can suggest I post a message on here to see if anybody knows

I don't know BUT I have taken mine out about 4 or so times lately and all I did was get the vehicle warm first then disconnect all the stuff you need to then I replaced the high pressure pipe on the injector and tapped the nut back and forth to break and carbon - I then used a Jimmy (Jemmy) type bar gently under the nut levering while tapping back and forth - its worked every time but nearly didn't the only time I did it with a cold engine.

Be careful with the bar as you are levering onto a plastic cover - put something there to cushion it a bit.

You sir will go far in this world. You own a Freelander and have a sense of humour. Nothing can possibly bring you down!

Well if the guy can't be bothered getting back to you then he either doesn't know or doesn't care. Either way, why on earth would you bother buying from someone like that???????????

I buy stuff from Halfords occasionally. It's about the same in there!

Happy to buy the tool from somewhere else but this is the only one I've seen, it looks right but I'd like to be sure.

there have been some really good write ups in this forum on the same subject ,with a how to do it . . . .try a search:)
