So it’s all looking good with the new engine, sounding sweet as a nut, but and there is always a but, I have one final issue, the power steering fluid… Was at it for a good while last night and only seemed to get some into it, is there a system for doing it? I poured it in, turned the wheels back and forth, had the engine idling and was using the bleed nipple down by the reservoir. Now it took some but not anywhere near enough. I’m right in saying ATF is ok to use, it said in the manual its ok for a 99 reg?

So the power steering is now sorted, turned out the little metal thingy that is in the engine had fallen out, no idea what it is called. Whatever it goes in against is spring loaded, worked a treat. Now the alternator is gone so will be doing that over the weekend.

Sounds like the clutch release bearing is also knackered although it was fine on the previous engine, any ideas or should I just replace it?

Oh the joys:D
