200tdi electric fan conversion?

HI all,
my mate has just converted it 200 tdi from a visgus fan to an electric fan it does away with all the couling, looks good but but im not sure whether to do it to mine, he doesnt tow or do any real driving in his im not sure if its man enough to keep it from overheating when worked hard, anyone else had any experiance of them?

Alright mate I done this conversion on mine. I have had no cooling problems at all and I drive in heavy town trafic (London) and on the motorway.

I've got a fan off a Peugeot 306 on mine with an X-Fan and its very rare it comes on even when laning or at Pay and Play days
